Our online Summer Event was a memorable day attended by 33 people from across the country.

After a time of reflection, we welcomed our main speaker and patron, Abbot Christopher Jamison OSB, to talk to us about his latest book Finding the Language of Grace – Rediscovering Transcendence. This interactive talk was a fascinating exploration of the theme of Grace, drawing inspiration from the writings of Teresa of Avila, religious art, Christian spiritual tradition and contemporary events. Together we explored how the language of grace is evident in our listening, speaking, writing and reading.

There was opportunity for discussion in groups, followed by a lively Q&A session facilitated by fellow patron Rev Graham Sparkes. The day concluded with some words and images reflecting on the theme.
