Working in collaboration with experts in the field of spiritual direction training for 5 years, the Retreat Association launched this document on  29 February 2024.

 

The Guidance includes sections on the following:

Aspects of spiritual direction; Formation of spiritual directors​; Evolving a formation programme; Developing programme process & content; Programme developments; Appendices.

The  initial concept for the Guidance was first suggested at our biennial Conference for Spiritual Direction Trainers (see below).
