Retreat Centre Description
Warm and welcoming 1906 Arts and Crafts style country house in 27 acres of beautiful grounds. Located in the Tyne Valley between Newcastle and Hexham and easily reached by road and rail. Church of England retreat house. Great home-cooked food, peaceful atmosphere and warm hospitality.
Bookings: We welcome individual and group bookings.
We have hosted a wide veriety of retreats and groups, including special family celebrations.
Our programme of retreats is under review and one for 2025 will be available on our web site in the comming months.

Accommodation on Offer
Rooms: 18 bedroom house with mixed accommodation of twin and single rooms with one double. 8 of the rooms are ensuite. 31 beds in total including 2 sofa beds. Separate self-catering accommodation available in 2- bedroomed cottage with kitchen, bathroom and lounge, situated in the grounds whichcan be booked through the sykes cottages web site:
