Tinhay Retreats

Tinhay Retreats offers retreats and spiritual direction. Set in an old farmhouse, with fifteen acres of peaceful gardens, meadows and pasture. The lovingly tended garden is affiliated to the Quiet Garden Movement. In addition, there are three acres of wildflower meadow, an old orchard area, a camping field and two sheep fields. Tinhay Retreats offers a prayerful space for individuals and groups. We welcome people of all denominations and none. Themed Day Retreats are available on request and our Snowdrop Planting days are very popular. For those looking for longer Retreats, a peaceful camp site is available within the grounds, just bring your own tent/caravan/motorhome (in the summer we have two glamping units available. Alternatively, B&B facilities are available at Tinhay Mill, which is a 15 minute walk from Tinhay Retreats. There is good access from the A30 and the nearest railway station is at Okehampton.
