Retreat Centre Description
Swarthmoor Hall is a Grade 2* listed country house set in beautiful gardens close to the historic market town of Ulverston in south Cumbria and is known as the "cradle of Quakerism", as it was from here in 1652 that Quakerism flourished. The Hall offers a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere for overnight guests in the accommodation and day visitors, as well as easy access to the fells of the southern Lake District and west Cumbria.
